Nice archive footage of the late Don Partridge, King of the Buskers, from the Swedish site svt.se recounting how Stockholm came to introduce a new law on busking, the "lex Partridge". I first met him at The Shades coffee bar / folk club in Reading in 1964 and he taught me words/chords to the tongue twisting music-hall song "What I Want is a Proper Cup of Coffee" by Weston & Lee. He was extremely funny and a spell-binding storyteller going off at surreal tangents and suddenly stopping to sing a song.
