In this sewing video tutorial I show you how to make cloth wipes. I focus on 2 different sewing techniques- 1) using a serger, 2) using a regular home sewing machine, using the stitch, turn, and topstitch method. These cloth wipes are made using 2 cotton flannel squares that measure 9" square and are great for wiping babies' bottoms, mouths, hands, faces, etc. I make them out of 2 layers of cotton flannel so that they are more absorbent and protect my hand from diaper messes. These cloth wipes can be used for anything you want and are great to keep stashed away in your purse or car glove compartment.

I use the Liese Bubble Hair Color in 'Milk Tea Brown'. As you can see- I don't need the hair tools because of the foam formula of the hair dye set. I just lather my hair into foam and massage baby. Not much skill required at all. You can do it yourself for an even hair application. Don't even need to lighten my hair beforehand. Anybody can do it. Cool beans. Artist: Bright Eyes Song: First Day of My Life Album: I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning [2005] Genre: Alternative, Folk, Indie, Emo, Post-rock Bio: Bright Eyes is the main project of American singer-songwriter/guitarist Conor Oberst. Bright Eyes also features multi-instrumentalist/producer Mike Mogis, keyboard player Nate Walcott and a rotating lineup of collaborators drawn primarily from Omaha, Nebraskas indie music scene. Conor Oberst has been recording music since the age of 13. He released his first two albums at the age of 14 with a band called Commander Venus. After the break-up of this band in 1997, Conors main focus became Bright Eyes, and in 1998 he released the first Bright Eyes album, A Collection of Songs Written and Recorded 1995-1997(a collection of 20 stockpiled songs) on the independent label saddle creek Records, which he had co-formed earlier in collaboration with fellow local Omaha musicians. Saddle Creek also put forth Letting Off the Happiness in November 1998, a ten track piece that boasted a much more focused and clear sound than the previous album. Coloring Outside the Lines part 1A Dying fiber

I've always wanted to play with fiber - don't care what I do, but playing with fiber is the best. I have done several Elizabeth Zimmerman Baby Surprise Sweaters with handspun (about 6 I think) and they are absolutely the best for any handspun yarn - especially those with multi colors - or self striping. I wanted to see if I could combine all the fiber color working I've done until now to produce a roving (pulled from a drum carder - - see my video on that) in multi colors. To actually spin enough yarn for a sweater I would need about 400 yards, so that is multiple batts pulled into roving - spun from the same color repeat/end into yarn and then plied. This video starts my adventure into trying to do this. There will be another video on carding and pulling the roving, and finally spinning the yarn - - No matter what happens, I'm bound to have glorious colors, a soft wonderful yarn and a grand adventure with fiber. Nothing ventured - nothing gained - - and if worse should come to worse, I'll still have a fabulous soft yarn that I can use for a multitude of things - - the Surprise Jacket still #1 as it can be done with so many yarns, then hats, mittens, socks - - scarf - - you get the idea.
